1.) You can be whatever you want to be. In Chris Langan’s view, no you can not. He tried, and tried again to receive higher education but was continuously shut down. Langans mother shorted him of his scholarship due to her lack of knowledge. Due to her not knowing, Chris suffered.
3.) There is a connection between effort and reward. This is true in some cases but not Chris’. He tried so hard to achieve his goal but what cut short due to his mothers lack of knowledge. He was also cut short due to the dean of his college not understanding his financial situation.
4.) IQ is not a reliable predictor of success. Chris had a very high IQ but ended up being unsuccessful.
